General Performance Considerations

V-MARK™ Reflective Material – Vehicle Conspicuity Markings will provide maximum durability when:

• Recommended procedures are followed.

• Marking is applied to vertical surfaces.

Actual durability will be based on actual customer use, field testing, exterior exposed testing and artificial weathering testing.

Durability can be reduced if recommended techniques are not followed:

• Failure to cut markings around rivets, seams and body are panels.

• Improper use of high pressure cleaning.

• Spillage of chemicals or solvents.

• Improper application or surface preparation.

Storage and Shelf Life

Storage

  • When it comes to storing warning triangle signs, it is recommended to keep them in a secure and easily accessible location in your vehicle. Most vehicles have designated storage compartments or compartments specifically designed for warning triangle signs. Make sure the signs are stored in a way that they will not become damaged or cause harm to other items in the vehicle. It is also important to familiarize yourself with local regulations regarding the storage and use of warning triangle signs.

Shelf Life

  • Warning triangle signs typically do not have a shelf life, as they are not consumable products. However, it is important to regularly inspect them for any signs of wear and tear, damage, or fading. If any issues are found, the warning triangle sign should be replaced immediately to ensure its effectiveness in alerting other drivers of a potential hazard.

General Maintenance Guidelines

Here are some general maintenance guidelines for warning triangle signs:

  1. Regularly inspect the warning triangle sign for any signs of wear and tear, damage, or fading.
  2. Clean the warning triangle sign regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
  3. Avoid exposing the warning triangle sign to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as this can cause damage or fading.
  4. Store the warning triangle sign in a secure and easily accessible location in your vehicle to prevent damage or loss.
  5. Familiarize yourself with local regulations regarding the use and maintenance of warning triangle signs.

Remember, a well-maintained warning triangle sign can help keep you safe on the road and alert other drivers of a potential hazard.
